In recognition of his 80th birthday, PBS Books, USA TODAY and the Muhammad Ali Center will present “Champion of Service: Celebrating Muhammad Ali,” a live virtual event at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2022, on the PBS Books Facebook page. Additional partners include the Louisville Courier Journal, Metro Louisville United Way, the Association for the Study of African American Life and History (ASALH) and Kentucky Educational Television (KET).  Tuesday, January 18, 2022, is a day to contemplate our shared values and create the blueprint together for #HowWeHeal from the effects of racism. The National Day of Racial Healing is an opportunity to bring ALL people together in their common humanity and inspire collective action to create a more just and equitable world.
