A Juneteenth Commemoration: Lift Every Voice and Sing
On Thursday, June 17, at 8 p.m. ET, PBS Books will share a special virtual program—“Lift Every Voice and Sing”—which is created by 10 leading Black museums and historical institutions across the nation. Celebrating the victory and liberty of the African American people and representing www.blkfreedom.org’s second year of collaboration, the virtual program will be offered in partnership with The Charles H.
