Get a taste of the South and join us at a virtual event featuring panelists from the new PBS series SOUTHERN STORYTELLERS and THE GREAT AMERICAN RECIPE! Hosted by PBS and co-hosted by Arkansas PBS and Virginia Public Media, this delicious conversation will celebrate southern food and its influences as it relates to southern culture and identity.
The event will take place on Tuesday, August 1 from 8-9pm ET. Featured guests will include THE GREAT AMERICAN RECIPE SEASON 2 contestants Leanna Pierre and Salmah Hack, along with several featured creatives from SOUTHERN STORYTELLERS, including musician Tarriona “Tank” Ball, cookbook author Michael Twitty, and screenwriter Qui Nguyen.
